Weekly Goals

My goals from last week, which I thought were so easy - weren't.  Both boys were out of school Monday, my youngest was home Tuesday & Wednesday with cough, congestion, and an off & on fever (same child is home today for the same reason, going to the Dr. this afternoon), babysat a 3 year old on Wednesday, had to run some errands Thursday (oldest needed 3 CUPS of sesame seeds for a school project, thankful for the local bulk store!!), Friday ended up wasting a lot of time waiting to get my oil changed on the new van.  Saturday was our oldest's first dodgeball game - who knew that was going to be so much fun - then a 3 hour cast party for him that afternoon. I was at least able to run to the grocery store while he was there and grab copious amounts of cereal for ridiculously low prices!  Yesterday we stayed home due to the little one still not being 100%.  I made homemade chicken noodle soup, grandma's refrigerator rolls and whole wheat pita bread.


My 10 goals for the week of February 19-25
Family/Mothering Goals
1. Find a book to read as a family and read a chapter a night.-- Picked out Hank the Cowdog - The Case of the Booby-Trapped Pickup


2. Write a letter to our Compassion child, Maikol.

3. Make an effort to look good for my husband when he arrives home from work! --Well 2 out of 5 days isn't terrible.

Personal Goals
4. Walk at least one mile a day, every day. -- Did this once

5. Blog 2 times this week. (Halfway done!)

6. Start reading A Woman's Guide to Overcoming Depression -- Still haven't started this, I really do want to read it just hard to get going on it!

Home Management
7. Go through my 6 year old's room and de-clutter! -- Got this about half done, still a lot to go through!

8. Make Whole Wheat Pita Bread

9. Wind all yarn into balls and organize it. (Taught myself how to crochet a couple of weeks ago!) -- Yeah, got one done...

Business Goals
10. Create 2 items to sell and post on business page -Karla Creative -- Didn't see the inside of my craft room this week!

Since it was my first week trying the goal list I am not going to beat myself up over what I didn't do, just be thankful for what I did get done.

Family/Mothering Goals
1.  Read a chapter a night with the kids in Hank the Cowdog - The Case of the Booby-Trapped Pickup

2. Write a letter to our Compassion child, Maikol.

3. Do at least one thing a day I know that my husband would really appreciate

Personal Goals
4. Walk 5 miles this week

5. Blog 2 times, not including this post

6. Read one chapter in A Woman's Guide to Overcoming Depression

Home Management
7. Get dining room de-cluttered and ready to move in new desk.

8. Get some freezer cooking done - breakfast items

9. Make a cleaning schedule I can stick to

Business Goals
10. Create 2 items to sell and post on business page -Karla Creative 

Looking forward to trying this again! I have a couple of goals for today also:
1. Get all laundry folded & put away
2. Keep up on dishes
3. Do something fun with my little man while he is here with me!
